yeah so...

ok so i'm starting to get excited about this whole baby thing. i got to hear the heartbeat on monday, and it was so cool!! next month we'll find out what we're having--of course allen wants a girl, and i don't care. just a healthy baby would be nice!! :) i'm just ready to start feeling the baby kick...i guess that's supposed to happen soon...but it's exciting!!

on a more depressing note, i started school yesterday..my first block of my education courses...it's not going to be easy..lots and lots of projects...boooooooooooo!!! but its that much closer to me being a teacher

one foot in front of the other

okay, so i know i shouldn't even be stressed out about anything because i really don't have any worries in life at all (besides the normal bills, rent payment, etc.)--but lately it's like i'm super super stressed and anxious and just a bunch of stuff all at once. i think most of it's just me thinking about the future and what it holds...which looking at it right now, i'm very excited!! ;) we have baby mac on the way (that's what i'm calling it for now) and then i'm trying to finish school, which i don't know how all that will work out in the spring, but i'm sure it will. i'm not going to worry myself over that.

but i will say--the whole "being hormonal" thing doesn't help one little eensy weensy bit. poor allen!! that guy has to put up with me day in and day out and i applaud him for being soooooooooooooooooooooo patient!! he's the BEST! i don't think anyone could put up with killer heartburn and puking and just the randomness of being with a pregnant wife like he can....

on the bright side, there are some very good opportunities that may lie ahead for us, and i can't wait!! but i guess we'll just have to take it one day at a time..


oh and i'm super nervous about my next doctor's appointment--did i mention that?? i'm sure it'll be FINE!!!!!! ooooooooo sahhhhhhhhh (that's my great breathing technique haha)

summer is just full of surprises!!

well, i have been waiting for awhile to make my announcement, but I'M PREGNANT!! yep--we wanted to wait longer this time to tell people because of everything that happened last time, but so far so good. i'm 14 weeks and fortunately not a big as a blimp yet. but that will happen soon enough, so i will enjoy my girlish figure for now :) but we will be having baby numero uno on or around february 3, 2009. here are some ultrasound pics from my appointment last month. and watch out, one of them makes our future child look like an alien or the grim reaper, one. i'm still not sure which haha..you can decide--
